Extensive Cyber stalking and Threats campaign to a former school mate by a Florida man A Florida man was prosecuted on charges of Cyber stalking and threating by a 30-year old women from Massachusetts who was also an old schoolmate of the man. The man was convicted with five years in Prison, three years of supervised release along with a fine of $250000. Stuart Z. Mills,33, and Maria Landry, 30 went to same school at Pine Village in Houston, Texas. Maria Landry had published an essay in an online magazine about the traumatic sexual abuse which she had faced when she was approximately 15 years-old and the culprit was 18-years-old. Pseudonyms were used by the victim for Stuart and others in the essay, not revealing the identity of anyone. When Stuart came across the essay, he posted thousands of comments to the essay. He expressed his love for the victim then and now. He also posted comments on the victim’s personal website. His comments revealed the multiple changes in his personality where he revealed how he masturbated till date seeing victim’s photograph, or how he tried to commit suicide “because of you”. Stuart published graphical description of his sexual encounter with the victim. At instances he also apologized to the victim. He kept on sending personal emails and messages to the victim over social networking sites. He also expressed and threats to harm and injure the victim. Stuart continued to harass Maria despite the fact that she had obtained court order in June 2017, forbidding him to further communicate to her. The charges of Cyber Stalking and making threats gave a sentence of up to five years in prison, three years of supervised release and a fine of $250000. Sentence was imposed by a federal district court judge based upon U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
