In sheep's blood, the majority of the lipid components are phosoholipids and cholesterol. The phospholipids account for 75% of the total lipids and cholesterol account for the 25% of the total lipid composition. The free cholesterol forms the majority of the total lipid composition and cholesteryl ester forms the minor component.
