Answer #1

Answer 1:

You know then, whenever a build is released it's in the process of testing which is in most cases beta testing, where it gets tested at a global consumer level. So on the basis of feedback and error log when they fix a number of hotfixes at the same time then that is when they give a cumulative update. Which serve as fixes and enhancements to the functionalities or the software or an operating system.

Whereas build can be referred to as a standalone version of an improved software product or an OS. Assume a better version of a previous version with fixed errors released as a separate (not version) build. Builds come with prefixed errors while updates are just there,  no need to reinstall or completely update a system.

Answer 2:

Search for updates and it will give you a list of available updates which are often mentioned with priority levels. So you be the judge of which one to install and download them from the support center of the product. You simply can go to the support center of the related product and search for the list of updates in the related genre.
