demarc:

demarc (demarcation point) also called as POD(point of demarcation) is the separating line where your service providers hardware connects with your own.  it is the physical point at which the public network of a telecommunications company (a phone or cable company) ends and the private network of a customer starts this is normally where the link physically enters a structure. It is like the point till that demarc the responsibility of any repairs and installations lies with the company, after that the responsibility lies with the client who is using that.

Where is demarc Located  :

The demarc is located outside or inside of the building it is located majorly outside for the convenience of the technicians,

Other locations are:

1. Near the main electric panels

2. Near the starting point where the cable enters into the building

3. Outside the wall of the building like the entrance of the building
