From given balanced chemical reaction,

A) 5 moles Cl2 required ----> 2 moles KMnO4

1 mol Cl2 required ---> 2/5 = 0.40 mol KMnO4

B) 355.0 g Cl2 required ----> 316.0 g KMnO4

1 gram Cl2 required ---> 316.0/355.0 => 0.89 g

So,KMnO4 required = 0.89 gram
