Answer #1

Selection: My father is a member of the family which I would like to analyse.

Factors that make him accept changes:

  • Clear outcomes - If the outcome is clear and personally beneficial he is more acceptable to change.
  • The positive impact of change: Because of his background with any kind of change he expects positive results. Like the decision to change electrical equipment at the house and shifting to CFL have a positive impact on the environment so he was ready to make the change.
  • Sustainable growth - the change that might not show immediate results but have long-term advantages are acceptable.

Factors that make him resist changes:

  • Past experiences: If the change is against certain aspects which he has already experienced in past he would be resistant. Example - The impact of nutritious and vegetarian diet has kept him healthy so he won't accept non-veg meals for his own consumption.
  • Technology-based changes - If a sudden change is happening due to technological development he won't be easily acceptable. Example - Taking online services or e-commerce services as he still prefers to go out, check the product and then buy the same.
  • No clear outcomes, no result, no positive impact - the changes that are risky and might not have clear results are the ones he will resist and won't support.

1.The microsystem is Bronfenbrenner’s term for the im- mediate environment, the settings where people experience their daily lives. Bronfenbrenner emphasizes that the child is an active agent in the microsystems. For example, children are affected by their parents but children’s behavior affects their parents as well;...

As we have already seen, much government revenue comes from the individual income tax in many countries.
