Answer #1

The Deep River and DIstrict Hospital is a rular hospital with the areas of functioning in ottawa. It is a 24 hours service provider centre.

Earlier this hospital had a manual administrative syastem in which each and every task was done manually. It was very time taking and tiering job. Every administrative work was done manually.

But with the use of technology the process have become very easy. The anount of paper used before also reduced. This has also created additional capacity and allowed staff to focus on improving patient care.

One thing which we can learn from this is that in health sector the use of technology is must. In various countries there are shortage of health employs and even then they are burdened with lots of administrative formalities. If we design a system as dine by the Deep river we can save much of the time and man power. This would help us in the efficient functioning of healthcare institutes.
