This amendment probhits the FDA from approving the use of any food additive found to cause cancer in animals and humans.

Now according to data and calculation see that your favourite drink is not dangerous for human but that does not give any guarantee that it does not cause cancer in humans because human body is a biolocigical system with complicated well catalyzed enzymed chemical reaction. So it's the call of all the people to ban or to not ban. Because if something has a potential to cause cancer is always a dangerous thing to intake.
