Configuration Management:
In system engineering, Configuration Management is a process through which we ensure the tracking and consistency of all assets of an organization at all times. We check all individual configuration items and interdependencies in this process.
The configuration management system describes how the information is stored through some form of mechanism. This process handles the changes to a system in a systematic way by which we maintain integrity over time.
Capability Maturity Model:
Capability Maturity Model is a methodology that describes a five-level strategy to improve the process of software development.
This model is used to measure the maturity level of the software development process of an organization.
The five levels of CMM are:
1. Initial
2. Repeatable
3. Defined
4. Managed
5. Optimizing
Capability Maturity Model Integration is administrated by the CMMI Institute and it is a process level improvement training program and appraisal program.

In this discussion, we'll identify two useful apps that support IT configuration and systems management and explore what makes them useful. Instructions 1. Identify two apps that you recommend for IT system configuration and management. 2. What makes them useful? What makes them challenging for business use? 3. Post an APA reference that supports your response. Please post your response and then respond to at least two other students comments. Be sure to post your findings three days before the...
Typically there are 6 groups that fulfill quality management roles. Discuss those groups and describe what each does. Discussion 7: Chapter 11 Discussion questions are constructed around items that are important for you to learn in each chapter. Keep that in mind when you are responding to the discussion and when you are studying for the exam. In Chapter 11 the discussion is centered on organizing for quality. Quality management systems in health care organizations may vary based on the...
