True or False: A cell phone company believes that 90 percent of its customers are satisfied with their service. They survey n = 30 customers. Based on this, it is acceptable to assume the sample distribution is normally distributed.

For sample distribution to be assumed as approximately normal, the conditions are

(a) np 5

(b) n(1-p) 5

here, n = 30

p = 0.90

np = 30x0.9 = 27

n(1-p) = 30x(1-0.9) = 3

n(1-p) < 5. Condition (b) is not satisfied here

So, we cannot assume the sample distribution is normally distributed
