Answers:- a. Genotype of the sex chromosomes depends on whether you are male or female. If you are male the genotype will be XY and for female it XX.

b. In terms of sex chromosomes, the chromosomal genotype of ovum is X.

c. Possible sex chromosomal genotype of males is either X or Y.

d. The gametes of males will always determine the sex of offspring because it is heterogeneous ( Either X or Y) but for females it is always X type in gametes.

Name Sex-linked traits are genetic char segments of DNA found on chromosomes that Sex-Linked Traits Senetic characteristics determined by genes located on sex chromosomes. Genies are and on chromosomes that carry information for protein production and that are sponsible for the inheritance of specific traits Genes exist in alternative forms called alleics. or a trail is inherited from each parent Like traits originating from genes on autosomes (non-se chromosomes), sex-linked to omosomes), sex-linked traits are passed from parents to offspring...

Drosophila Genetics predictions exercise-L113 (25 pts.) Part I. Meiosis and Punnett Squares Remember, whenever you use Punnett Squares to solve genetics problems, be sure you are completing each of the following steps: 1) Identify the genotypes of the parents. 2) For the specific traits of interest, figure out what kinds of haploid gametes each parent can make. In each gamete, there should be one allele for each trait of interest. If there is more than one trait, make sure all...
