Answer #1

Most marketers avoid deceptive practices, because of the different reasons. The first reason is the strong regulations and consumer protection laws, that make companies to meet the promises and if not done, they will have to pay the heavy penalties due to the deceptive practices adopted by the their marketers. The second reason is the negative reputation, lawsuits against the company and poor branding of the products, that make marketers to refrain from making deceptive practices. Today, consumers are more aware, informed and intelligent to verify the promises made by the marketers. It makes marketers to be careful regarding what they say. The third reason is the ethical practices that make marketers to act in a way that is morally high ans just. Here, deceptive practices make people to form a negative perception about the company and they may never go to buy the products of a particular company.

Above reasons, make marketers avoid or refrain from the deceptive practices.
