We are designing a webpage named as Online Multipurpose Healthcare System (OMHS). This webpage is targeted towards three users: a patient, healthcare service provider (a clinic or hospital) and the doctors. The patient will be able to book an appointment for a particular disease he or she may have. He need to sign-up with the service and then can look for the disease he want to get service for. Then a list of expert doctors for that particular disease will come up and then the patient needs to select a doctor and a particular time slot for appointment. The doctor will have to analyze the patient’s past health record and hence will be able to provide medication.

How does the project meet the definition of project? A project is an activity to meet the creation of a unique product or service. Here the webpage will be a unique one. This project has different phases to be completed. And it also requires efforts of many to be built. The number of people working in this will be more than 20 in various departments such as analyzing the need, generating data, research about market, collection of healthcare data from various service providers and doctors, designing, testing, etc. Hence this satisfies the definition of a project.
