Question 1: B cells secrete these types of immunoglobulin antibodies. Choose all correct.

1. IgD

2. IgL

3. IgG

4. IgM

5. IgA

6. IgE

True or False Questions

2. T cells expressing CD8 protein on their surface are called cytotoxic T cells and function in the killing the infected APC cell.

3. Antigen presentation on the cell surface is a way to tell the immune system that they are infected and the presented molecule tells T cells what they are actually infected with.

4. A hallmark of a specific immune response is the presence of memory T and B cells that can readily be upregulated during a second infection by a previously "known" antigen.

Answer #1

Question 1)

B cell produces following kind of antibody:

* Ig G

*Ig A

*Ig E

*Ig D

*Ig M

( Ig l antibody is not produced by B cell. )

Question 2)

There are two types of T cells:

*Cytotoxic cells which kills APC ( Antigen Presenting Cell) which are inflected by pathogen. These express CD8 protein on its membrane for interaction with APC cell.

* helper cells express CD4 protein on its membrane.

That's why this statement is True.

question 3)

There are MHC molecule on APC cells which carries antigen particles after exocytic or endocytic processing of antigen in APC.

Now this antigen particle interacts with T cells and leads to activation of T cells.

That's why, this statement is True.

Question 4)

There are B memory cells in the body which leads to enhance the secondary immune response, when body is infected with same pathogen in later stages.

T cells do not generate secondary immune response.

That's why, statement is False.
