Answer #1

Following are five important customer key process output categories:

  1. Quality of the product or services : this means the product delivered or service rendered is of good quality as per customer expectation. It can be improved by using lean management concept of reducing wasteful activities and defects and maximizing productivity and performance.
  2. Price of the product or services : this is a determining factor for several purchases. It has to be reasonable and is determined as per customer perception. Again lean tools can be applied to reduce wastes and control prices.
  3. Whether it is as per requirement or not : measuring actual verses desired. This will be ensured when the project leader tracks the progress of the project against the designated timeline and milestones.
  4. Value for money: this is again in line with customer satisfaction. It is achieved and can be improved by serving customer with his requirements, needs, wants and desires.
  5. On time delivery or availability : the product must be available as per customer requirement . This results in customer satisfaction.
