Answer #1

To construct or reconstruct the history of ocean chemistry, studies related to the nature, ecosystem and resources are done.

For the change in sulphur concentration, the studies about the amount and presence or absence of sulphur rocks are done. Based upon it the sulphur concentration with time is studied. Study of bacteria dependent on sulphur are also done.

For the oxygen concentration the availability of oxygen producing and oxygen consuming organisms are done.

Some other factors which affect the ocean chemistry are withering of the rocks, change in oceanic as well as allover world climate change, volcanic eruptions, activities of the earth plate tectonics movement, and activities of all the organisms found there.

Thanks.
