Using this equation, we solve for the elastic cord's constant(k)

                    T= 2π√(m/k)

                    k(T/2π)2= m

                    k= m/[(T/2π)2]

Knowing that T=1/frequency

we can do the algebra, we to get k = 2.08 N*m

Using k we solve for 1/T to learn that thefrequency of the elastic cord when 0.39 kg hangs from it is.37 HZ.
