Note : i took Ka values from sapling . please check whether it is match with your value or not . if any wrong that is only with Ka values.

a)

1.2 M NaNO2

pKa of HNO2 = 3.25

pH = 7 + 1/2 (pKa + log C)

      = 7 + 1/2 (3.25 + log 1.2)

pH = 8.66

b)

pKa of HOCl = 7.40

pH = 7 + 1/2 (pKa + log C)

      = 7 + 1/2 (7.40 + log 1.2)

pH = 10.74

c)

pKa = 9.886

pH = 7 + 1/2 (pKa + log C)

      = 7 + 1/2 (9.886 + log 1.2)

pH = 11.98
