I have constructed this NPN Common-Emitter circuit in multisim and am asked to "Perform AC Simulation to obtain Av(gain), Ri, and Ro". How could I do that? Please list out the steps/instructions to do so.
STEP 1
Design the circuit.
STEP 2 (Not mandatory )
input Vs output waveform
Output on Channel B (Blue Waveform)
Input on Channel A(Red Waveform)
GAIN
step 1
Go to AC analysis
Simulate->AC analysis
Now for gain Use add expression to Get V(6) /V(1) using manual keyboard
AND THEN CLICK ON SIMULATE
NOW LEFT CLICK ON CURSOR AND SELECT
Go to next Y MAX Y>=
And then check the value on cursor
y2 will gain in dB =21.60 dB
PART 2
Input and output impedence
Use multimeter
Connect two pins to input and ground .
Select resistance And simulate the circuit (Switch on Green button)
Input resistance
Output resistance
THANK YOU !!!

FIND THE VALUES OF Rb1, Rb2, Re,Rc, rin , rout, overall gain and open circuit gain First, design a common emitter BJT amplifier Second, analyze the amplifier.( Avo, Gv, Rin, Rout) Third, compare your calculation with Multisim. Report must include comparison between your calculation & simulation results overall voltage gain, open circuit voltage gain, input resistance, and output resistance. This design project is not group work, must be done individually. Type your report. Design a discrete common emitter BJT amplifier.(Determine...
