Ans 1 :

Styrofoam cup is a better thermal insulator than the glass beaker. So if the glass beaker is used for the calorimeter , it will transfer the heat from the calorimeter to the surroundings ( as the hot coffee feels hotter in glass cup than the styrofoam cup) , which may cause the errors in the calculation of the calorimetric experiment.
