Option 1: Movies

Research question for Option 1: Which genres of movies are more successful: Action/Adventure movies or other types of movies?

Answer this question using the data set Movies.txt. Choose at least one quantitative variable that relates to your definition of success. Compare the success of action/adventure movies to other movies using the variable(s) you chose. Follow the instructions above.

Option 2: Body Temperatures

In current medical practice, 98.6F is considered a normal body temperature, but this is an average. Normal body temperatures will vary throughout the day and are sensitive to hormone levels. However, an abnormally high or an abnormally low temperature may be a sign of illness.

Research question for Option 2:

According to this data, what is a normal range for adult body temperature? What temperatures would you label as abnormally high or abnormally low?

  • Should there be different normal temperature benchmarks for men and women?

To answer these questions analyze the adult body temperature data in Body Temperature and Heart Rate.txt. Follow the instructions above.

Option 3: Breakfast Cereals

The question mentions 8 charts however the images you have provided only have 7. So I am going ahead by choosing one from 7.

I feel A bar chart with the most financially successful genres (based on total revenue generated) is important for the executive for deciding before giving the green light.

The chart reveals that AA genre has contributed most total revenue of 9,249,00. It is followed by Genre A amounting to a total revenue of 5,277,00. the genre SF is next to follow with revenue of 61.83 and F with a revenue of 21.04 and D with the smallest revenue of 17.14. Using this chart executive can easily decide which genre is most liked by the viewer i.e Action/Adventure which has generated the most revenue and Animation is the next successful genre of movie. This easily supported by the 5th graph as most blockbuster movies are made in the Action/Adventure genre i.e. is 18 followed by the animation which has 13 movies. Thus we can say both charts support the data and executive decision
