ATP synthase is an enzyme which is responsible for the formation of ATP from ADP with the help of a proton gradient. It has 2 subunits :

1) Fo component that is the integral membrane subunit and drives proton movement across membrane

2) F1 component that rotates and drives ATP synthesis.
