(a) 650 nm would be better option as we see steady increase in absorption at that wavelength whereas for 450 nm case after a decrease it has become saturated which makes it difficult to dewa the standard curve.

(b) No, as we can clearly see the increase in absorbance at 650 nm is getting saturated as the relative changes between consecutive data points are decreasing.So, above 20 ×10-3 g/dL , the linearity of standard curve will not be retained.So, it cannot be used.
