When a person wants to launch his career in COMEDY , the following 4 P's need to be considered.

* PRODUCT :- For a person wanting to pursue a career in comedy, for him product means comedy content or humour material he has as a comedy. because unless and until he is very good at his comedy material, no other P's will work out as when core comedy is weak ,no success is ensured.

The another point is differentiation from others. your product should be unique and different than other comedians, it could be a contentwise or may be the style of delivering a comedy, postures, gestures , hand movements etc. sometimes plain and simple content can have a large impact than something which is fashionable.

Hence, it is very important to first clear and very solid with the contents & humours otherwise it will be like risking your career if you are not good enough.

*  PRICE:- Generally, in a marketing terms, price refers at what price your product should be sold in the market to capture the maximum no. of buyers & to sustain in the market.

Here, for a comedy line, my suggestion would be to join some comedy groups who are already launched and have some good listeners base rather than doing shows alone.. The main reason behind joining such groups is you will learn some good tactics to deliver your content and the price range which are running in the market.

The pay will be minimal but it should be acceptable at the very beginning of the career. later on, a person can have his own shows and at reasonable tickets once he has grown some audience and popularity.

Therefore, price should not be the matter of concern at this stage of career.

* PLACE:- Place refers to the place of delivering a product where maximum no. of buyers can get acquired. For a comedian , selection of place is very crucial as the comedy is not something which everyone likes . It has it's chosen and selected customer base. therefore the decision becomes crucial.

Usually for a person who is recently graduated would likely have a knowledge about liking/disliking , demands , problems of youngsters. hence, the market should be young audience for his comedy. and ultimately metro cities and urban localities should be the place for a product.

Another place for market is virtual place. means delivering a content over internet. for eg. YouTube, Facebook, Instagram etc. to gain popularity and then going publically live.

* PROMOTION:- Promotion is how you promote the product to create brand awareness . For a Comedian who is new in the field but also fresh graduate can go with the option of digital marketing. as it is the cheapest and specific.

The best way to promote the content is through the medium of internet as every youth now a days is on most of the social media platforms.it gives you accessibility to every corner of a globe. The target market shall be youths mostly.
