identify the 3 most important topics, issues or "eye-opening" ideas/concepts you did not know about Marketing Management and "Thinking Like A CMO" but learned in this course. Why are they important to you and to CMO'?
answer-
Marketing management is the process of developing strategies and planning for product or services, advertising, promotions, sales to reach desired customer segment. The three important topics or issues which i did not know would be important are-
marketing and communication are dependent means without effective communication the marketing strategy would fail.for example- if we are trying to make a product launch for old target audience but uses the online medium like FB or youtube so this strategy would not work effectively because our communication medium should be Magazines or TV commercials which old people watch most often.
Marketing and promotion are not the same I though promotion and marketing are same but i came to know that promotion is just the one part of marketing management and promotion needs marketing management to reach the audience. for example- if there is no product, price or place then what , how and when we promote the products.
Marketing complements other departments like if we do not have idea of lauching new products then we would not give order to manufacturing department, order to purchase raw materials to purchase department, getting funds from finance department so all departments are connected with marketing department.
They are important to me because they improve my knowledge and widens my horizon to get whatever the information i can get and apply that into my future career and to CMO it is important so that they can solve marketing issues and make effective marketing strategy for business.
