Climatic changes has been a high concern in this modern world today.This is a sign of destruction made to the nature by the humans.

A recent article on "Food and climatic changes " published in New York Times describes that whoever eats food contribute to climatic changes.This starts right from production , packaging &!distribution and consumption.

The key issues are when there is use of synthetic nitrogen fertilizer used in soil produces nitrous oxide which has the capacity to trap heat in the atmosphere neatly 300 times more than the carbondioxide.The packaging parts are mostly plastics which are non degradable which can prevent the richness of the soil for years from harvesting. The food from farmnto consumers travels nearly 1200km where the spoiling and gas emissions into the air is possible causing climatic changes.The consumption of the food which are with these fertilizers and packaging can lead to unhealthy food practices.Hence the article clearly states the pesticides and chemical used in the agriculture contribute to global warming.
