Let's take an example of desert biome:

* Abiotic factor:

In abiotic factor, soil, temperature and water all non living things are considered. In desert, low precipitation rate is found. And temperature is variable. In day time, it is too hot and and in night, it is very cold.

Soil is rich in inorganic matter and poor in organic matter.

# Abiotic factor in desert are limiting factor which restrict the growth of biotic factor of desert. The biotic factor which can adapt themselves according to this environment can survive here.

*Biotic factor:

#Presence of poor microbiota such as decomposer because of harsh conditions that's why there is poor organic matter in soil.

#The plants found in desert have specialised adaptation for living in such harsh conditions.

For example: cactus plants store water in their plant part when water is available. And store for future purpose.

Presence of sunken stomata for reducing transpiration.

Leaf modified into spines.

# The animal found in desert has also specialised adaptation for surviving in these condition.

For example:

In kangaroo, water is the by product of internal activities of the body. They do not require water from outside.

Camel store water and utilise when water is not there

Nocturnal animals are found in desert generally so that they can escape from high heat of desert during day time.
