Amino acids are said to be the building block of the protein. These are made up of monomers of the amino acid. These amino acids are supposed to be arranged into the different orientations to give the structure of the protein like globular, linear etc.

Hydrophillic Amino acids are those which have water or aqueous loving side chains for example as Asparaginine, Arginine etc.

Hydrophobic Amino Acids are those which does not like to reside on the aqueous solution as they have water repelling side chains, Examples are Leucine and Phenylalanine and few more.

Thus it depends on the side chain that whether it will be found in the hydrophobic or hydrophillic region.

Mostly the hydrophillic amino acids are found in the most region.
