1 In Anorexia nervousa cycle of self-starvation ,the body is denied the essential nutrients it needs to function normally .Thus the body is forced to slow down all of its process to conserve energy resulting in serious medical consequences.such as muscle loss and weakness,low blood pressure and reduction of bone density.

2 Anorexia is a type of eating disorder in the form of self-starvation whereas bulimia nervousa in which individuals engage in repetetive cycles of binge-eating alternating with self-induced vomiting or starvation.

Both are centered on food and it s consumption.They are characterized by an over valued drive for thiness and a disturbance in eating behaviour.

3 Muscle Dysmorphia is characterized by being preoccupied with muscle development.People believe that they are not sufficiently muscular and lean.

Men with muscle dysmorphia and anorexia nervousa demonstrated widespread symptomatic similarities spanning the domains of disturbed body image disordered eating and excercise behaviour ,whilst differences were consistent with the opposing physiques pursued in each cndition.Recent studies show that both are nosologically similar.
