1a. What would you research, and how, to help you decide whether a group is effective or ineffective in making decisions?
1b. What specifically could you measure that would let you predict that two people were in a relationship and likely to remain so?
A decision by group means there are more than on individual involved, it can be two or more than two people who collectively take the decision, The decision taken by the group is different from an individual’s decision, There are many factors involved such as time, the acceptance by all the members, and the decision taken is bad or good depends upon the end result of that task. If the collective decision taken by the group has flaws then it will give a bad result.
To find out whether the group is effective or ineffective is taking a decision, can be researched by giving the same problem to two groups and give them certain time frame within which they have to give their decision with an explanation. The time factor will create great psychological pressure on them, as they have to collectively take an effective and successful decision.
First they will have discussions, and would try to find out the exact cause of the problem if they are successful in finding out the cause, then there is the possibility of the right decision, if there is some disagreement among the group member then there will be a wrong decision and may not be prepared during the time allotted to them.
The group can adopt various methods like discussing among themselves, consensus decision making to avoid winners or losers, or let them take their decision and put it forward, then collectively take the decision
The group which satisfies the decision taken by them is the result oriented and give the explanation in detail why they took such decision can be taken as the decision making group., and the other group whose decision are having flaws and not properly explained the reason why such a decision is to take can be taken as ineffective in decision making.
2. To decide that two people are in a relationship the first sign is their body language towards each other, the facial expression and non-verbal communication if observed clearly the eyes can tell everything.
The depth of the relationship and commitment by both of them is very difficult for the third person to predict, but there are certain factors like honesty, commitment, care, and the extent to which they are devoted to each other, as they were already in relationship and with time if I observe that there love and devotion is increasing I can predict that they are likely to remain so. if relationship is entirely devoted to each other they may remain in the relationship in the future.
