The nutrients are the important part of our body to give energy
to carryout the activities but also provides biological and
chemical molecules to support and maintain the health.
The nutrients we have to supply the body to meet the demands,but
incase if it being excessive overtime may leads to negatively
impacts the well being,weight gain,excessive weight gain and affect
the metabolic process and some times may leads to nutritional
toxicities or poisoning.
Nutritional deficiency is a condition where there is a inadequate supply of nutrients or The body is not able to absorb the nutrients that results in malnutrition or nutritional deficiency or disease.
Nutritional excessiveness is otherwise called as overnutrition or hyperalimentation.It is a condition whwre there is excessive supply of specific nutrients results in malnutrition/poisoning or toxicity.
To maintain the adequte nutrition to stay healthy we have to increase our intake with certain vitamins,and minerals.
We have to mostly maintain our adeqaute nutrition by adding/consuming more fruits and vegetables and high quality plant derived supplements.
The client who is suffering with nutrientional deficiency are adviced :
*To consume adequate fiber in the diet especially soluble fiber
*To get adeqaute vitamin D.Vitamin D is helpful for the absorptionof calcium and promote bone growth
*To consume healthy fats and omega -3 fats.reduces the risks for coronary heart diseases
*To consume the foods rich in anti-oxidants.These substance may protect from the cells against the effects of free radicals that may play a role in heart disease,cancer etc
*Eat lean and plant base protein.This will be lower the risk of obesity and many chronic diseases such as heart disease and diabetes,inflammation and cancer.
*Take the whole grains.This is a overall healthy diet that helps to reduce the blood cholestrol and lowerthe risk of heart diseases and as well as it is important to maintain a healthy bowel function and reduce the risk of constipation.
*Consume magnesium rich foods.This will regulate the muscle and nerve function,maintain blood sugar levels,maintain blood pressure,making essential protein,and maintain thed functions of DNA
*Eat calcium rich foods.It plays an important role in bone develoment and prevent osteoporosis,muscle co-ordination,transmitting message through the nerves,and releas eof some hormones.protects fromheart disease
*Drink plenty of water.It will maintai health and wellness.Water is required for every functions of the body/cells.Maintain the body temperature and prevents from dehydration.
We have to avoid the client from the nutrient excessiveness/toxicity by :
*Avoid them to consume too many calories,which may include fat,protein and carbohydrates that may results in excessive weight and prone to get high B.P,high cholestrol and increasing the risk for heart disease
*Consuming only the recommended daily allowance of fat soluble vitamins.These may store only in fat cells.If it consuming more/excessive may leads to toxicity/poisoning.
*Our kidneys may excrete excessive amountsof water soluble vitamins.Then also if it consume large amounts may leads to toxicity,kidney stones,and stomach absorption
*The essential minerals such as maganese,zinc,iodine,iron,flouride,copper in large amounts leads to toxicity.
To avoid the malnutrition such as under nutrition and undernutrition are easily preventable by following a healthy diet according to the recommended daily allowance.Thus become stay healthy.
