child:
Providing enema to the child can be done with experienced clinical person they have the idea for how best the administration to be done..Proper and complete explanation needed from provider side to the parents..enema uses, administration procedure and side effects etc..it help cope up with procedure and avoid errors..Get assistance for performing the procedure,if the child is under 5years or older and child with fear we make parents to hold them..make sure the tube size and tip is lubricated with lubricants to avoid injury and pain..Allow the child to relax and by talking and gently insert against it..It will be less recommended if child is under 2 years..in this case doctor will perform the procedure..;watch the child for adverse effects and keep all the available resources near to the patient to prevent bed wet..
