To maintain integrity and good ethical behavior as a Health Education Specialist in charge of a large company’s fitness and wellness program, and despite the poor data report of the effectiveness of the fitness and wellness program within two years, how can I handle the situation when my supervisor is requesting for the justification to continue with the wellness program due to its ineffectiveness with respect to the poor data report. Health education specialist work towards health promotional measures.Proper records are essential for planning, development and efficient operation of wellness program. Health education professionals are often dedicated with excellence practice aiming at promoting health in individual level, family level, organizational and community levels. Inspite of numerous challenges health education professionals uphold integrity and ethics for their profession.  

Health education professionals try their maximum to promote health . But when the individuals donot provide the necessary data's of their personal behaviours and lacking focus towards their behaviour , masking their risk factors may be the reason for poor data report. Health educators serve as an evaluation consultant but when he has overall data of the subjects who he aims to help at. This fitness and wellness program is a life long program which may take at least minimum 5 years to succeed . In a span of two years the employees could have been questioned and evaluated about their needs . They could be provided interventions but the implementation of those plans and needed outcomes can be available only after a certain time. This wellness program is a step towards health promotion and disease prevention. Life style factors and diseases are always interlinked. Being a health education specialist ,he work for better health of employees as he acknowledge the rights of others to hold diverse values, attitudes, and opinions.
