Answer #1

Collaboration among community health centres is an important aspect in delivery of medical services that is proving beneficial over time. Effective collaboration among community health centres has been instrumental in fostering effective preparedness in emergency response in the case of disasters (Harkness & DeMarco, 2012). Through collaboration, community health centres are able to pool up their efforts in responding to an emergency by contributing medical facilities, nurses, physicians who are taken through training to be resourceful in case of emergency occurrence. Partnering of community health centres in terms of coordinating roles and responsibilities through involvement of all members in preparedness and tapping unique contribution of each member is a key benefit of collaboration. Additionally identification and solving health problem is another key benefit of collaboration for community health centres. Collaboration of community health centres in terms of planning, implantation, evaluation, monitoring of activities geared towards identifying the existing health problems and subsequently solving is a key aspect of collaboration (Harkness & DeMarco, 2012). The collaborative activities through involvement of all stakeholders in important in improvement of health living standards of a given community by alleviating some of the existing health problems

Health reforms will be key in promoting collaboration and an interdisciplinary approach at community health centres. This is as the health reforms are being put forth to promote the provision of primary care that supports innovation in delivery of care, achieving better health outcomes as well as improving patient experience (Chilingerian & Institute of Medicine, 2000). Moreover health care reforms are in the frontline in creation of primary care workforce that is tasked with improving health status of the community through collaborative strategies and interdisciplinary approach.
