Graded retrograde amnesia refers to one would be able to remember things that are remote whereas one would have difficulty recalling the immediate memories. Flat retrograde amnesia is the opposite of it where the patient wouldn’t be able to recall any distant memories but would be able to recall the immediate memories. Sometimes, it would be only temporary until the brain gets back to normalcy and regain its capacity to form memories and retain them.
