Answer #1

Measurement by its very core act is a practical experience. To learn about measuring without hands-on practice is to limit oneself to a mere theoretical understanding of a very practical science.

On the other hand, theoretical understanding of the measuring device and process is vital to correct and safe measurement.

In the case of measurement therefore, both theoretical (worksheet based) knowledge along with hands-on practical experience go hand in hand to provide a clear and holistic understanding of the measurement process.
