(vii). Sol :-

NaCl (s) in solid state do not form ions, therefore it will not conduct electricity in solid state because of no movement of ions. On the other hand NaCl (aq) in aqueous solution form Na+ (aq) and Cl- (aq) ions, therefore it will conduct electricity due to the movements of the ions.

HCl (aq) is the strong acid or strong electrolytes and therefore it is completely dissociated into its ions in aqueous solution.
