Answer #1

13)

Applying law conservation of energy;

Let velocity is 'v' m/s

Kinetic energy = potential energy

mv^2 / 2 = mgh

v^2 = 2gh = 2 * 9.8 * 14 = 274.4

So, v = sqrt (274.4)

v = 16.57 m/s ....Answer

14)

Momentum (p) = mv

v = p/m = 60/2500 = 0.024 m/s

Acceleration (a) = v/t = 0.024/8 = 0.003 m/s^2

Force (F) = m * a = 2500 * 0.003 = 7.5 Newton ...Answer

Let me know if any doubts.
