consider how the residential schools system has impacted the physical and mental health of Aboriginal populations in Canada today. Reflect on what you understand of Intergenerational trauma and the effect of trauma on peoples' health choices
Residential schools are the boarding schools which are supported by government for children's .
Aboriginal population are the natives or ethnic groups who are the original settlers of a given region .
Intergenerational trauma means the trauma that is transferred from one generation to another by post traumatic trauma disorder mechanism.
In the surveys it has been found that nearly two out of three who attended the school said that tresidential schools had negatively impacted their health and well being . They were physically , verbally and sexually abused . The former students and the childrens of the former ones were less likely to say that their health condition were good as compared to those who were not studying in residential schools .
Residential school survivors and those whose parents and grandparents those who attended schools were more likely to have considered suicide at some point of time in their life and had higher rates of binge drinking , drug use and other illegal activities .
In residential schools children's are under pressure and strict control they don't have freedom this affects them mentally and they gets deviated to other illegal activities to release this stress . These children's are easily attracted by drug users because they also wants to get relief of theses strict environment and they get involved in illegal activities .
Many times children who does not have their parents are left in boarding schools by their relatives and they just interact with the child during summer or winter vacation and that's all. At this age childrens need love of their parents and when they lose their parents it's a mental trauma to them they believe that they don't have anybody and boarding strict rules and regulations make them hard heart and introvert . They don't listen to their teachers and get involved in illegal activities to make them selves free and to live their life they don anything . In this way they gets involved in durg use, and other illegal issues like sexual abuse etc and atlast when they don't have any option and gets trap tries to commit suicide to end up everything .
Hence, boarding schools are good in providing education ,but it's strict rules and regulations sometimes makes the child more repellent ,strange and rude that impacts in negative way his health as well as life .

Consider a typical residential heat pump system operating between an indoor temperature of 70F and an outdoor temperature of 45F. The Carnot COP of heating for this system is over 30 (you can determine this exactly). Yet, the actual COP of heating for actual systems today runs around 4-5. Ok, where did the COP go? That is, in thermodynamic terms- what are the irreversibilities, what components or processes are guilty? Don't forget the whole system should include some power hungry...
