1) Conflict is a normal part of the process and the PM must be prepared to deal with it.

2) A project without healthy conflict will fail to realize all the benefits of having a team with diverse skills working together.

3) Conflict in project management means disputes and disagreements between stakeholders.

1) Conflict are very normal within members in a project team. It occurs due to contrasting view point and difference in opinion. Also, the team formed during projects is usually for short duration and members are not able to have strong bonds or build the cordial environment due to which there are high chances of conflict. The conflicts even help to improve the bring improve in the project as people share their view points and can come up with a better suggestion. As there are dependency on each other for task, there may be conflicts amongst members. So, it is unavoidable to not have a conflict in project team and PM must learn the skill to sort out conflicts tactfully.
