  3. classification of the synovial joint by shape (example: the elbow is a hinge joint)
  4. ALL types of movements that can be performed by the joint (depression, elevation, lateral flexion, retraction, etc.?).

Atlantoaxial joint - Joint between the first (atlas) and second cervical vertebrae ( axis ).

b.atlanto occipital joint - BIAXIAL

atlanto axial joint - uniaxial

c. Atlanto occipital joint - Condyloid joint

Atlantoaxial joint - pivot joint

d. Atlanto occipital movements - flexion of head , extension of head and lateral flexion of head

Atlantoaxial joint movements - Head rotation
