Her pre-pregnancy BMI and weight are 30 and 175 (respectively), at 28 weeks she weigh 192 lbs and has been diagnosed with gestational diabetes. She also has hypertension stage 2. She consumes starchy foods. As a nutritionist or healthcare professional, would you recomened her holding her weight stable for the remainder of the pregancy? or what amount of weight gain would you recommend?
