From the equation you see one mole zinc react with two mole hydrogen chloride to form one mole zinc chloride and one mole hydrogen.

Molecular weight of zinc 65.38 that is one mole Zn

30 gm zinc means 30÷65.38=0.46 mole

So .46 mole zinc will react with (.46×2) mole hydrogen chloride to produce .46 mole zinc chloride and .46 mole hydrogen gas.

So the hydrogen produce =.46 mole= (.46×2)= .92 grams.
