As most of the health care professional are well trained in acute care settings where all efforts are employed to care for patients with end of life, or death and dying.

Health care professionals may not be comfortable caring for death and dying patients,

Hospice professionals have a lot of experience dealing with death and dying patients.

Perspective of health care professionals towards death and dying are on several factors,such as

(a) health care professionals personal belief.

(b) how experienced they are in dealing with death and dying.

(c) health care professionals own cultural and social belief.

Etc

Also, quantitative study reveals that physicians experience very strong and lasting emotional reaction to the death of patient , and also there is a need to maintain balance between personal and professional life .

Although, so many nurses who are not experienced in this field or having no exposure to deal with death and dying and having fear and anxiety dealing with these patients.

At the beginning new nurses feel so nervous as they have no idea how to deal with such a critical situation, as they get through the situation they started learning gradually the dealing techniques and they learn to balance between personal and professional life.
