methanol is a covalent compound which remains in molecular form in solution.

NaCl is a salt and produces two ions per molecule in solution.

NaCl (aq) -----------> Na+ (aq) + Cl-(aq)

Thus in methanol solution we have 0.1 mole of methanol particles while in NaCl solution we have 2 x0.1 moles of ions (total Na+ and Cl-) .

Thus OPTION 2 IS CORRECT.
