The Tenth Amendment focuses on the capacity of the states to regulate behavior and enforce order for the betterment of the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the people. This is also known as police powers. What constitutional limits are placed on government actions related to public health? What constitutional case lead to these limitations? 1.There are certain individual rights such as

Rights related to receive services explicitly provided under health care, health financing and conxerning freedom of choice and freedom from government interference or health insurance laws. Today public health practices and policies are structured by various laws from many sources such as Legislative enactments, Administrative regulations and the Common law.

Hurley v Eddingfield case in which doctor denies patient care and this is where the no-duty principle was described. No -duty principle refers to the fact that individuals have no legal right to health care services and correspondingly there exists on the part of health care providers no general, legal duty to provide care.
