PR PLAN helps to spread awareness about any new product that a company intends to launch in the market. Here in the question, UNILEVER wants to launch a product. In order to do a PR for UNILEVER, let's take an ice-cream as a product and launch a brand of WALLS HB in India. We are choosing this brand which comes under UNILEVER and Walls Hb isn't in India yet.

   PUBLIC RELATION PLAN

Introduction : To launch a whole new brand of Walls HB Ice- cream in India. Ice creams are much loved in India and to beat the scorching heat, having a delicious cool Ice-cream is a must! Be it summers or winters, people can't get over Ice-creams. Walls HB is looking to expand it's reach in India and various other countries. At present, Walls HB ice creams are sold in the Northen Ireland.

Objectives : To give a good variety of Ice creams in different parts of the world. UNILEVER sets a target to sell Walls HB ice creams in all states of India because of It's demand and population in India while also setting a target to sell 1000 products from Day 1 till our campaign is over.

Audience : To cover the major cities like Delhi,Mumbai, Ahemdabad etc. These cities are populated and will invite a good brand of Ice cream in their city.

Strategy : Start with advertising in the local channels on the T.V and newspapers. Launch new posters in the city to advertise the product. Setting up new cool outlets/stores of Walls HB. REGIONS TO BE COVERED :-

   On Jan 1st - 3rd Jan cover the regions of Mumbai (Bandra ,Thane, Santa Cruz) at IST 11:30 . Venue - Central mall (of every area) On Jan 5th - 8th Jan cover the regions of Delhi ( NCR , Hauz khas , Hooda city centre)  at IST 11:30. Venue - Central mall.    On Jan 10th - 13th Jan cover the region of Ahemdabad (Nehru nagar, SG Highway, CG road) at IST 11:30 . Venue - Central mall.

      

Target Media : Newspaper - The times of India, The hindu, Indian express. Radio channels - All India Radio (AIR) stations. Cover all local Tv channels for giving ads. Posters in the streets and malls.   

Expected Outcomes : Reaching wide mass of people and trying to sell more than 1000 products each day of different flavors.

Our Key performance indicators will be to achieve the set target of selling 1000 products of Walls HB under the UNILEVER products. By starting with cities like Delhi , Mumbai , Ahemdabad , we may get a good opportunity to promote the products on a huge scale.
