Halfway through its flight, it strikes a giant yellow bird flying at 8 m/s in the -x direction. This causes the ball's velocity to be reduced by 20% but it continues flying thru the air. The bird loses one feather but is ok and continues flying at 7 m/s. After flying for a while longer, the ball hits the ground. What is the acceleration of the ball in the y-direction right after it bounces off the bird?
