Answer: The dental professionals should maintain quality assiassur for dental radiographs because the main purpose of the quality assurance is to give proper and better treatment to the patient.

The quality assurance consists upon the guidelines and protocols which is generally made for the betterment of the patient. These guidelines are mainly made according to the evidence based practice and hence to provide better care and facilities.

The necessary procedures performed by the dentist is that keeping in mind the rules and regulations where he can not insist the patient for any reason to go through their against wish. Before any root canal or root capping the dentist should know about the medical conditions of the patient such as he may not be suffering from diabetes or any heart disease etc.

Knowing about the daily medication the patient is taking and medical history of the patient should be reviewed first.
