Yes, the community is a stakeholder because a community project affects the interest of the community. A stakeholder is a party who has an interest in the project and who can affect or be affected by the project. For example, if the there is project to open a community school. The community will be affected by this project since it promotes schooling and helps in the welfare of the community. The response of the community is also vital as the success of the project depends on it. The project can be successful only if the community responds positively.
